Connect to a local network and the Internet

When you connect the Rover to your local network that provides Internet connection, you'll be able to download files to the Rover, as well as forward the Internet to your computer when you're connected to the Rover's access point.

Raph Rover comes with a router that can connect to a WiFi network as a client.

In order to do that, you need to access the router's web interface. Open a browser and navigate to http://10.10.0.1. Use the credentials provided below to log in:

  • username: admin
  • password: Fictionlab1

Connect to a WiFi network​

Go to Network → Wireless → SSIDs tab.

Click Scan 2.4 GHz or Scan 5 GHz depending on the bandwidth of the network you want to connect to.

Using the router in client mode will temporarily disable the access point functionality on the chosen band. You will have to wait until the router connects to the network before you can connect to the access point on that band again.

Choose the network you want to connect to from the list and click Join Network.

Enter the WPA passphrase of the network and click Submit.

The settings of the connection will be shown. You can modify them according to your needs. However, in most cases the default settings should work. Click Save & Apply to connect to the network.

The router will take a few seconds to apply the changes and connect to the network.

You are now connected to the network. You can check the connection status in Network → Wireless → SSIDs tab.
